An account of the resource
This collection consists of photographs, certificates, report cards and diplomas, relaed to Annas Gertrude Ryan and her sister Mary Louise Ryan. Ryan upon her graduation in 1928, a scrapbook and two yearbooks from Russell High School, although these are not part of the digital collection.
A.G. Ryan was born in 1912. Mary Louise Ryan was born in 1908. They were daughters of Harry F. Ryan of Tennessee, a painter, and Parthenia Ryan of Kentucky. Both were still living with their parents on Athens Avenue in southwest Atlanta at that time.
East Point public schools operated as an independent school system until the time it was merged with Fulton County in 1927. College Park's independent school system merged with Fulton's that same year.
