Description
To meet goals set for the 1952 building program, the Fulton County Board of Education proposed a county vote to establish a bond sale to supplement funds provided by the State School Building Authority. These funds together would fund construction projects involving new schools, as well as improvements to existing plants. Between 1947 and 1959, the Fulton County Board of Education raised over $22 million dollars for the construction and improvement of classrooms district wide.
